Biography

Samyukta Bhandari is a Kathmandu-based multidisciplinary artist with a background in visual arts and design. Her practice revolves around blending art and design to instigate conversation around environmental themes. Working professionally since 2018, Samyukta’s work delves into the complex interplay between freedom and boundaries. She employs various mediums to investigate the human experience and the delicate balance between freedom and boundaries.

Currently, she is investigating house sparrows and their living, breeding, and territorial habits in Kathmandu, where they are highly co-dependent on human lives.
